Terminals Of Ecu

  1. INSPECT POSITION CONTROL ECU & SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the b7 and b8 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (b7-4) - GND (b8-1) B - W-B Engine switch signal Engine switch off Below 1 V
      IG (b7-4) - GND (b8-1) B - W-B Engine switch signal Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
      +B (b8-5) - GND (b8-1) L - W-B Power source Always 10 to 14 V
      SYSB (b7-8) - GND (b8-1) G - W-B System power source Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (b8-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the b7 and b8 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      SLD+ (b8-2) - GND (b8-1) B - W-B Sliding motor signal (forward) Slide switch OFF Below 1 V
      SLD+ (b8-2) - GND (b8-1) B - W-B Sliding motor signal (forward) Slide switch FRONT ON 10 to 14 V
      SLD- (b8-3) - GND (b8-1) G - W-B Sliding motor signal (rearward) Slide switch OFF Below 1 V
      SLD- (b8-3) - GND (b8-1) G - W-B Sliding motor signal (rearward) Slide switch REAR ON 10 to 14 V
      FRV+ (b8-6) - GND (b8-1) W - W-B Front vertical motor signal (upward) Front vertical switch OFF Below 1 V
      FRV+ (b8-6) - GND (b8-1) W - W-B Front vertical motor signal (upward) Front vertical switch UP ON 10 to 14 V
      FRV- (b8-4) - GND (b8-1) R - W-B Front vertical motor signal (downward) Front vertical switch OFF Below 1 V
      FRV- (b8-4) - GND (b8-1) R - W-B Front vertical motor signal (downward) Front vertical switch DOWN ON 10 to 14 V
      LFT+ (b8-7) - GND (b8-1) Y - W-B Lifter motor signal (upward) Lifter switch OFF Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the control ECU & switch may have a malfunction.

  2. INSPECT POSITION CONTROL ECU & SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the a6 and a7 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (a7-4) - GND (a6-1) B - W-B Engine switch signal Engine switch off Below 1 V
      IG (a7-4) - GND (a6-1) B - W-B Engine switch signal Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
      +B (a6-5) - GND (a6-1) L - W-B Power source Always 10 to 14 V
      SYSB (a7-8) - GND (a6-1) R - W-B System power source Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (a6-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the a6 and a7 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      SLD+ (a6-2) - GND (a6-1) B - W-B Sliding motor signal (forward) Slide switch OFF Below 1 V
      SLD+ (a6-2) - GND (a6-1) B - W-B Sliding motor signal (forward) Slide switch FRONT ON 10 to 14 V
      SLD- (a6-3) - GND (a6-1) G - W-B Sliding motor signal (rearward) Slide switch OFF Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the control ECU & switch may have a malfunction.

  3. INSPECT MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the Q13 master switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E (Q13-12) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (Q13-15) - E (Q13-12) P - W-B Power source for CPU and relevant device Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (Q13-18) - E (Q13-12) V - W-B Power source for CPU and relevant device Engine switch off Below 1 V
      SIG (Q13-18) - E (Q13-12) V - W-B Power source for CPU and relevant device Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the Q13 master switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.
      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MM (Q13-8) - E (Q13-12) SB - W-B SET switch signal SET switch OFF 10 to 14 V
      MM (Q13-8) - E (Q13-12) SB - W-B SET switch signal SET switch ON Below 1 V
      M1 (Q13-7) - E (Q13-12) L - W-B M1 switch signal M1 switch OFF 10 to 14 V
      M1 (Q13-7) - E (Q13-12) L - W-B M1 switch signal M1 switch ON Below 1 V
      M2 (Q13-5) - E (Q13-12) V - W-B M2 switch signal M2 switch OFF 10 to 14 V
      M2 (Q13-5) - E (Q13-12) V - W-B M2 switch signal M2 switch ON Below 1 V
      M3 (Q13-14) - E (Q13-12) R - W-B M3 switch signal M3 switch OFF 10 to 14 V
      M3 (Q13-14) - E (Q13-12) R - W-B M3 switch signal M3 switch ON Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the master switch may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the M9 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (M9-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (M9-4) - GND (M9-1) LG - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M9-3) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B Engine switch (IG) power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      SIG (M9-3) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B Engine switch (IG) power supply Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M9-6) - GND (M9-1) L - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M9 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the resistance of the connector.
      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MSWE (M9-26) - GND (M9-1) W-B - W-B Ground for seat memory switch Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH

    1. Disconnect the M4 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (M4-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (M4-4) - GND (M4-1) LG - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M4-3) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Engine switch (IG) power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      SIG (M4-3) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Engine switch (IG) power supply Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M4-6) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M4 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance of the connector.

      MSWE (M4-26) - GND (M4-1) W-B - W-B Ground for seat memory switch Always Below 1 Ω
      MM (M4-25) - MSWE (M4-26) Y - W-B SET switch signal SET switch OFF 10 to 14 V

      M1 (M4-22) - MSWE (M4-26) BE - W-B M1 switch signal M1 switch OFF 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
