DTC 01-D5: Absence of Registration Unit; DTC 01-D8: No Response for Connection Check; DTC 01-D9: Last Mode Error; DTC 01-DA: No Response Against ON / OFF Command; DTC 01-DB: Mode Status Error; DTC 01-DE: Slave Reset: Description

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
01-D5*1,*4 When either condition below is met:
  • Device that sub-code shows is (was) disconnected from system when turning engine switch on (IG or ACC)
  • Communication condition with device that code shows cannot be obtained when engine starts
  • Power source circuit of component shown by sub-code
  • AVC-LAN circuit between radio receiver and component shown by sub-code
  • Component shown by sub-code
01-DB*2,*4 Device indicated by sub-code is (was) disconnected from system after engine starts
01-D9*1,*4 Device that had functioned before engine stopped is (was) disconnected from system when engine switch is (was) in on (IG or ACC)
01-DA*4 When either condition below is met:
  • No response is identified when changing modes
  • Detected when sound and image do not change by switch operation
01-DB*1,*4 Dual alarm is detected
01-DE*3,*4 Code is stored when slave device has been disconnected after engine starts

HINT: 

NOTE:
  • Before starting troubleshooting, be sure to clear DTCs to erase codes stored due to the reasons described in the HINT above. Then, check for DTCs and troubleshoot according to the output DTCs.
  • The radio receiver is the master unit.
  • Be sure to clear and recheck DTCs after the inspection is completed to confirm that no DTCs are output.
