DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM: Procedure

  1. CHECK NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the H133 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.

    2. Disconnect the H132 navigation computer sub-assembly (navigation ECU) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H133-1-1 (USB-) - H132-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-1-2 (USB+) - H132-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-1-3 (USBS) - H132-1-3 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-2 (USBG) - H132-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-3 (VOT+) - H132-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-4 (USBV) - H132-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-5 (VOT-) - H132-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-6 (VOR-) - H132-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-7 (VOR+) - H132-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H133-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H133-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      (to Navigation computer sub-assembly (Navigation ECU))

    NG → REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 

    OK → See step   2
