Front Passenger Side Power Window Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) - MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE)) 
    1. Disconnect the Q6 power window switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the M5 motor connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q6-4 (A) - M5-4 (AUTO) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q6-4 (A) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (A) - 5 (E) AUTO UP / DOWN operation Below 1 Ω

    NG → See step   4 

    OK → See step   3 

  3. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side). Refer to  REMOVAL - Step 20 
  4. REPLACE POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Front Passenger Side). Refer to  REMOVAL - Step 9
