Front Passenger Side Power Window Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) - MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE))
- Disconnect the Q6 power window switch connector.
- Disconnect the M5 motor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q6-4 (A) - M5-4 (AUTO) Always Below 1 Ω Q6-4 (A) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Front Passenger Side)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (A) - 5 (E) AUTO UP / DOWN operation Below 1 Ω
NG → See step 4
OK → See step 3
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side). Refer to REMOVAL - Step 20
- REPLACE POWER WINDOW SWITCH (for Front Passenger Side). Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
