Navigation ECU Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the F30 display and navigation module display connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F30-10 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F30-1 (+B1) - F30-10 (GND1) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      F30-2 (ACC) - F30-10 (GND1) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      F30-3 (IG) - F30-10 (GND1) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
