DTC B27A2: Open in Front Passenger Side Electrical Antenna Circuit: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side).

   OK

   Connectors are properly connected.

NG → CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F50-5 (CLG2) - z6-6 (ANT1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F50-6 (CG2B) - z6-3 (ANT2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F50-5 (CLG2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F50-6 (CG2B) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   z6-6 (ANT1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   z6-3 (ANT2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   z6-2 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Reconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

2. Measure the resistance and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

1. Replace the front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
2. Recheck for DTCs.

   OK

   DTC B27A2 is not output.

NG → See step   7 

OK → END (FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY WAS DEFECTIVE)
