DTC B27A2: Open in Front Passenger Side Electrical Antenna Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION
- Turn the power switch off.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side).
OK
Connectors are properly connected.
NG → CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE)
- Disconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F50-5 (CLG2) - z6-6 (ANT1) Always Below 1 Ω F50-6 (CG2B) - z6-3 (ANT2) Always Below 1 Ω F50-5 (CLG2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F50-6 (CG2B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher z6-6 (ANT1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher z6-3 (ANT2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE - BODY GROUND)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z6-2 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- INSPECT CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR SIGNAL OUTPUT)
- Reconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F50-5 (CLG2) - F50-15 (E) - Power switch off
- All doors closed
- Key not in cabin

- All doors closed
- Key not in cabin
- All doors locked by wireless lock function
Pulse generation F50-6 (CG2B) - F50-15 (E) - Power switch off
- All doors closed
- Key not in cabin
No pulse generation F50-6 (CG2B) - F50-15 (E) - Power switch off
- All doors closed
- Key not in cabin
- All doors locked by wireless lock function

- REPLACE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)
- Replace the front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side). Refer to REMOVAL .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Recheck for DTCs.
OK
DTC B27A2 is not output.
