Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the F50 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F50-1 (+B) - Body ground R - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      F50-15 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F50-17 (CUTB) - Body ground GR - Body ground Dark current cut fuse pin input signal Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the F50 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the 2C, F7 and 2B junction block connectors.

    2. Disconnect the MB main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - Power switch power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - Power switch power supply Power switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    4. Reconnect the 2C, F7 and 2B junction block connectors.
    5. Reconnect the MB main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    6. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or instrument panel junction block assembly may have a malfunction.

  3. COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the F4 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F4-22 (B) - Body ground V - Body ground Battery Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      F4-33 (EP) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the F4 combination meter assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      F4-21 (IG2) - Body ground BR - Body ground Power switch signal Power switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the combination meter assembly may have a malfunction.
