Terminals Of Ecu

  1. PARKING ASSIST ECU

    1. Disconnect the F106 connector from the parking assist ECU.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F106-1 (+B) - F106-3 (GND1) V - W-B Power source signal Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      F106-3 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F106-7 (IG) - F106-3 (GND1) V - W-B IG power source signal power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      F106-8 (ACC) - F106-3 (GND1) SB - W-B ACC power source signal power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the F106 connector to the parking assist ECU.
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

      HINT: 

      A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the parking assist ECU with the connector connected.

      1. Waveform 1 (camera lens not covered, displaying an image)

        Terminal No. (Symbol) F105-12 (CV+) - F106-3 (GND1)
        Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μsec./DIV.
        Condition Power switch on (READY), reverse (R) selected

        HINT: 

        The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.

      2. Waveform 2 (camera lens covered, blacking out the screen)
        Item Content
        Terminal No. (Symbol) F105-12 (CV+) - F106-3 (GND1)
        Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μsec./DIV.
        Condition Power switch on (READY), reverse (R) selected

        HINT: 

        The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.

  2. REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the L32 connector from the rear television camera assembly.

    2. Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L32-4 (CB+) - Body ground W - Body ground Power source Power switch on (READY)
      Reverse (R) selected
      5.8 to 7.0 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the L32 connector to the rear television camera assembly.
    4. Check for pulses between each terminal of the connector.

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, the camera may have a malfunction.
