        HINT:

        • Electrical noise from radio waves generated by optional components or the wiring for those components may affect MOST communication.
        • This DTC may be stored when an MOST communication error occurs due to electrical noise.

    A: Go to next step

  2. REMOVE OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)
    1. Remove optional components (including associated wiring).
      NOTE:

Do not remove optional components or associated wiring without the permission of the customer.

    NEXT: Go to next step

  3. CHECK DTC
    1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK

      No DTCs are output.

    NG → See step   4

    OK → END

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)
    1. Disconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      STANDARD RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P27-2 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      P27-6 (GND2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      STANDARD VOLTAGE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P27-1 (+B) - P27-2 (GND)*1 Always 11 to 14 V
      P27-3 (+B2) - P27-2 (GND) Always 11 to 14 V
      • *1: w/ Front Center Speaker

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: Go to next step

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MOST COMMUNICATION LINE)
    1. Disconnect the display and navigation module display connector.
    2. Disconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    3. Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance between the display and navigation module display and the stereo component amplifier assembly according to the value(s) in the table below.
      STANDARD RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J51-1 (MI+) - P29-6 (MO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J51-5 (MI-) - P29-12 (MO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J51-2 (SLDI) - P29-11 (SLDO) Always Below 1 Ω
J51-1 (MI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
J51-5 (MI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
J51-2 (SLDI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    5. Measure the resistance between the radio receiver assembly and the stereo component amplifier assembly according to the value(s) in the table below.
      STANDARD RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J65-11 (MO+) - P29-4 (MI+) Always Below 1 Ω
