Tilt and Telescopic Manual Switch Circuit: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (COMBINATION SWITCH)
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Check the tilt and telescopic manual switch. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Switch / Data List.COMBINATION SWITCH
Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Telesc Short SW Telescopic SHORT switch status/
OFF or ONOFF: Telescopic short not activated by manual switch
ON: Telescopic short activated by manual switch- Telesc Long SW Telescopic LONG switch status/
OFF or ONOFF: Telescopic long not activated by manual switch
ON: Telescopic long activated by manual switch- Tilt Down SW Tilt DOWN switch status/
OFF or ONOFF: Tilt down not activated by manual switch
ON: Tilt down activated by manual switch- Tilt Up SW Tilt UP switch status/
OFF or ONOFF: Tilt up not activated by manual switch
ON: Tilt up activated by manual switch- OK
"ON" is displayed on the Techstream screen when each switch is turned on.
"OFF" is displayed on the Techstream screen when each switch is turned off.

- REPLACE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH. Refer to REMOVAL
