DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM: Procedure

  1. CHECK NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the H159 DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.

    2. Disconnect the H158 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H159-1-1 (USB-) - H158-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-1-2 (USB+) - H158-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-1-3 (USBS) - H158-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-2 (USBG) - H158-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-3 (VOT+) - H158-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-4 (USBV) - H158-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-5 (VOT-) - H158-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-6 (VOR-) - H158-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-7 (VOR+) - H158-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H159-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H159-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      (to Multi-media Module Receiver Assembly)

    NG → REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE
