Multi-media Module Receiver Assembly Communication Stop Mode: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY CAN BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition N68-1 (CANH) - N68-2 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY CAN BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CANH, CANL)
OK: Go to next step
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.NOTE:
When connecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2012 - ] .
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition N68-17 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V N68-16 (ACC1) - Body ground Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V N68-15 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]
