DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - DCM) 
    1. Disconnect the DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.

    2. Disconnect the multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N145-1-1 (USB-) - N146-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-1-2 (USB+) - N146-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-1-3 (USBS) - N146-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-2 (USBG) - N146-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-3 (VOT+) - N146-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-4 (USBV) - N146-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-5 (VOT-) - N146-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-6 (VOR-) - N146-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-7 (VOR+) - N146-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      N145-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      N145-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
