DTC P0192: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input; DTC P0193: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Put the engine in inspection mode (maintenance mode). Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE [03/2012 - ] .
5. Start the engine.
6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT and ECT / Data List / Fuel Press.
7. Read the values.

   OK

   1800 to 2800 kPa (18.4 to 28.6 kgf/cm² , 261 to 406 psi)

   Result

   Fuel Pressure (kPa)	Proceed to
   25000 or more	A
   0	A
   (1800 to 2800)*	B

   HINT: 

   *: The value must change when the engine is moving or stationary.

A: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the ECM connectors.
2. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F5-88 (VCPR) - F45-1 (VC)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F5-86 (PR) - F45-3 (PR)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F5-85 (EPR) - F45-2 (E2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F5-88 (VCPR) or F45-1 (VC) - body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F5-86 (PR) or F45-3 (PR) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. Reconnect the ECM connectors.
5. Reconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (ECM - FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR) 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.

2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   F45-1 (VC) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	4.5 to 5.5 V

4. Reconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.
