DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DCM - DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY) 
    1. Disconnect the H36 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.

    2. Disconnect the H35 display and navigation module display connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      STANDARD RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H36-1-1 (USB-) - H35-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-1-2 (USB+) - H35-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-1-3 (USBS) - H35-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-2 (USBG) - H35-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-3 (VOT+) - H35-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-4 (USBV) - H35-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-5 (VOT-) - H35-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-6 (VOR-) - H35-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-7 (VOR+) - H35-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H36-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H36-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
