How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [06/2012 - ]

HINT: 

• Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the wide view front monitor system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

   NEXT: Go to next step 

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
   1. Measure the battery voltage with the engine switch Off.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding.

      NEXT: Go to next step 

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      CAN DTC is not output	A
      CAN DTC is output	B

      B → Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2012 - ]

4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT* 
   1. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ] .
   2. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ] .
   3. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ] .
