DCM Data Signal Circuit between Navigation ECU and DCM: Procedure

  1. CHECK NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the J128 DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.

    2. Disconnect the J129 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J128-1-1 (USB-) - J129-1-1 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-1-2 (USB+) - J129-1-2 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-1-3 (USBS) - J129-1-3 (USBS) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-2 (USBG) - J129-2 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-3 (VOT+) - J129-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-4 (USBV) - J129-4 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-5 (VOT-) - J129-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-6 (VOR-) - J129-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-7 (VOR+) - J129-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J128-1-1 (USB-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-1-2 (USB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-1-3 (USBS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-2 (USBG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-4 (USBV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J128-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE
