How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [03/2012 - 07/2012]

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

   NEXT: Go to next step 

2. CHECK THE CUSTOMER'S CONTRACT STATUS 
   1. Check if the satellite radio and LEXUS ENFORM contracts are valid, or if the contract period has ended using the vehicle inquiry function on TIS.
      RESULT
      
      

      Result	Proceed to
      Both Contracts are valid.	A
      Contract for satellite radio is not valid.	B
      Contract for LEXUS ENFORM is not valid.	C

      B → GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2012 - 07/2012] 

      C → GO TO SAFETY CONNECT SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2012 - 07/2012]

3. CHECK FOR DTC* 
   1. Perform Health Check. Refer to HEALTH CHECK [03/2012 - ] .
   2. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
   3. Clear the DTCs.
   4. Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.
      RESULT

      Navigation system DTC is output.	B
      Rear seat entertainment system DTC is output.	C
      Safety connect system DTC is output.	D
