Navigation Receiver Assembly Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the G36 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G36-12 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G36-17 (+B1) - G36-12 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V
      G36-16 (ACC1) - G36-12 (GND1) Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      G36-15 (IG) - G36-12 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [03/2012 - 07/2012]
