- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2012 - ]

- CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT OPERATION
- Check that each function of the power seat operates normally by using the position control ECU and switch assembly. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [03/2012 - ]

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / D-Seat / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.DRIVER SEAT

- INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the front seat inner belt assembly LH. Refer to REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the a8 connector from the position control ECU and switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]
- REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]
- REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]
- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [03/2012 - ]
