How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [03/2012 - 07/2012]

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
    1. Interview the customer and confirm the problem. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2012 - 07/2012] .

      HINT: 

      Interview the customer to confirm the following:

      • History of brake fluid replacement.
      • Whether the engine was stopped intentionally when driving.
      • Whether the brake and accelerator pedals were depressed simultaneously.

  3. CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA* 
    1. Check and record DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.
    2. Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2012 - ]  for DTC Check/Clear, or. Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [03/2012 - ]  for Freeze Frame Data).
    3. Reconfirm the DTCs.
      1. Reconfirm the DTCs based on the recorded DTCs and Freeze Frame Data. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2012 - ]  for DTC Check/Clear, or. Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [03/2012 - ]  for Freeze Frame Data).

        HINT:

        DTC is not output (Problem symptom does not occur) B
        DTC is not output (Problem symptom occurs) C
