- Disconnect the A33, H1 and H2 power management control ECU connectors.
- Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT:
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

- *1: When the power switch is turned off with the shift lever in P and any of the doors are opened or closed, the steering will be locked. When the power switch is turned on (ACC) or on (IG), the steering will be unlocked.
- *2: When all of the following conditions are met, open any of the doors to operate the steering lock motor.
- The shift lever is in P.
- The power switch is off.
- While the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is being carried, the power switch is turned on (IG) and the steering is unlocked.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform of the ECU.

- The shift lever is in P.
- The power switch is off.
- While the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is being carried, the power switch is turned on (IG) and the steering is unlocked.
