    U0101*1 Lost Communication with TCM The ECM does not receive data from the TCM for 1.25 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • The power source voltage of the ECM is 10.5 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 2.25 seconds. MIL illuminates. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0122*2 Lost Communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module The ECM does not receive data from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for 2.5 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • Cruise control main switch is on.
    • Vehicle speed is 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
    Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more with the cruise control main switch on for 3.5 seconds or more. Displays messages on the multi-information display. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U1104*3 Lost Communication with Driving Support ECU The ECM does not receive data from the driving support ECU assembly for 2.5 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • The dynamic radar cruise control system (vehicle control mode) is operating.
    • Vehicle speed is 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
    Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more with the cruise control main switch on and operate the dynamic radar cruise control system for 3.5 seconds or more. Displays messages on the multi-information display. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
  2. TCM (for 2GR-FSE) / Techstream Display "ECT"

    • Delayed reception of data from the steering sensor, yaw rate sensor, and front steering control ECU continues for 1 second or more.
    • The following condition occurs 10 times or more within 60 seconds:
      • Delayed reception of data from the steering sensor, yaw rate sensor, and front steering control ECU occurs once or more within 5 seconds.
    • The following condition occurs 10 times in succession:
      • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) cannot send/receive data (bus off) once or more within 0.1 seconds.
    Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • The power source voltage (+BS terminal voltage) of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is between 10 and 17.4 V.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 60 seconds.
    • ABS warning light illuminates.
    • Slip indicator light illuminates.
    • Brake warning light illuminates.
    DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0100 Lost Communication with ECM / PCM The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the ECM for 2 seconds or more. All conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • Vehicle speed is 15 km/h (9 mph) or more.
    • The power source voltage (+BS terminal voltage) of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is between 10 and 17.4 V.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and drive the vehicle at a speed of 15 km/h (9 mph) or more for 3 seconds or more. Check that the warning light remains off after turning off following the initial light check. Slip indicator light illuminates. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module Either of the following conditions is met:
    • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the yaw rate sensor for 1 second or more.
    • The following condition occurs 10 times or more within 60 seconds:
      • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the yaw rate sensor once or more within 5 seconds.
    Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • The power source voltage (+BS terminal voltage) of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is between 10 and 17.4 V.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 60 seconds. Slip indicator light illuminates. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0124 Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module Either of the following conditions is met:
    • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the yaw rate sensor for 1 second or more.
    • The following condition occurs 10 times or more within 60 seconds:
      • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the yaw rate sensor once or more within 5 seconds.
    Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • The power source voltage (+BS terminal voltage) of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is between 10 and 17.4 V.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 60 seconds.
    • ABS warning light illuminates.
    • Slip indicator light illuminates.
    DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module Either of the following conditions is met:
    • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the steering sensor for 1 second or more.
    • The following condition occurs 10 times or more within 60 seconds:
      • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the steering sensor once or more within 5 seconds.
    Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • The power source voltage (+BS terminal voltage) of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is between 10 and 17.4 V.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 60 seconds. Slip indicator light illuminates. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0130* Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module Either of the following conditions is met:
    • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the front steering control ECU for 1 second or more.
    • The following condition occurs 10 times or more within 60 seconds:
      • The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) does not receive data from the front steering control ECU once or more within 5 seconds.
    Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 1 second or more.
    • The power source voltage (+BS terminal voltage) of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is between 10 and 17.4 V.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 60 seconds. Slip indicator light illuminates. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
  5. Power Steering ECU Assembly / Techstream Display "EMPS"

    U0100 Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A" The power steering ECU assembly does not receive data from the ECM for 5 minutes or more. All conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 3 seconds or more.
    • Vehicle speed is 20 km/h (12 mph) or more.
    • The power source voltage of the power steering ECU assembly is 9 V or more.
    Drive the vehicle at a speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) or more for 5 minutes or more. - DTC remains stored only while malfunction is occurring.
    U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module The power steering ECU assembly cannot receive data from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for 2.34 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 3 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the power steering ECU assembly is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 5.34 seconds. EPS warning light illuminates. DTC remains stored only while malfunction is occurring.
    U0130*1 Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module The power steering ECU assembly cannot receive data from the front steering control ECU for 1.34 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 3 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the power steering ECU assembly is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 4.34 seconds. EPS warning light illuminates. DTC remains stored only while malfunction is occurring.
    U0132*2 Lost Communication with Ride Level Control Module The power steering ECU assembly cannot receive data from the absorber control ECU for 6.1 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 3 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the power steering ECU assembly is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 9.1 seconds. - DTC remains stored only while malfunction is occurring.
  6. Network Gateway ECU (w/ Network Gateway ECU) / Techstream Display "Gateway"

    Body Electrical > Gateway > Trouble Codes 

    HINT: 

    • This ECU uses the CAN communication system for DTC communication.
    • "Gateway" stores DTCs when a communication error is detected in sub bus 2.

    U0114*2 Lost Communication with Four-Wheel Drive Clutch Control Module The network gateway ECU does not receive data from the 4WD ECU assembly for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 11 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the network gateway ECU is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 21 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0132*3 Lost Communication with Ride Level Control Module The network gateway ECU does not receive data from the absorber control ECU for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 11 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the network gateway ECU is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 21 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0233*4 Lost Communication with Blind Spot Monitor Master Module The network gateway ECU does not receive data from the blind spot monitor sensor LH for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 11 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the network gateway ECU is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 21 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U023A*5 Lost Communication with Front Camera Module The network gateway ECU does not receive data from the lane departure warning camera for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 11 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the network gateway ECU is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 21 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U1002 Lost Communication with Gateway Module (Network Gateway ECU) The network gateway ECU detects communication errors between itself and the driving support ECU assembly, clearance warning ECU assembly, absorber control ECU, 4WD ECU assembly, blind spot monitor sensor LH, lane departure warning camera and option connector (bus buffer ECU). Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 11 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the network gateway ECU is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 21 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U1110*6 Lost Communication with Intuitive Parking Assist Module The network gateway ECU does not receive data from the clearance warning ECU assembly for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 11 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the network gateway ECU is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 21 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U1117*7 Lost Communication with Accessory Gateway The network gateway ECU does not receive data from the option connector (bus buffer ECU) for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • The engine switch is on (IG) for 11 seconds or more.
    • The power source voltage of the network gateway ECU is 9 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 21 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
  7. Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) / Techstream Display "Main Body"

    U0101 Lost Communication with TCM The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the TCM for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0120 Lost Communication with Starter / Generator Control Module The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0151 Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the airbag sensor assembly for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0155 Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the combination meter assembly for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0199*1 Lost Communication with "Door Control Module A" The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the outer mirror control ECU assembly (for front passenger side) for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0200*1 Lost Communication with "Door Control Module B" The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the outer mirror control ECU assembly (for driver side) for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0208*1 Lost Communication with "Seat Control Module A" The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the front power seat switch LH for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U023A*2 Lost Communication with Image Processing Module "A" The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the lane departure warning camera for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. Displays messages on the multi-information display. DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0265*3 Lost Communication with Parking Assist Monitor Module The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the rear television camera assembly for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U0327 Software Incompatibility with Vehicle Security Control Module The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U1002 Lost Communication with Gateway Module (Main body) The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects communication errors between itself and the front power seat switch LH, outer mirror control ECU assembly (for front passenger side), outer mirror control ECU assembly (for driver side), rear television camera assembly and multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U1115*4 Lost Communication with Tilt & Telescopic Module The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
    U1117 Lost Communication with Accessory Gateway The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) does not receive data from the option connector (bus buffer ECU) for 10 seconds or more. Both conditions are met:
    • Power source status change (+B OFF → ON, ACC ON ←→ OFF, IG ON ←→ OFF) is detected and 10 seconds or more elapse.
    • The power source voltage of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 10 V or more.
    Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait at least 20 seconds. - DTC is stored until it is cleared using the Techstream.
  8. Certification ECU (Smart Key ECU Assembly) / Techstream Display "Smart Access"
