DTC U0101: Lost Communication with TCM; DTC U0104: Lost Communication with Cruise Control Module; DTC U0123: Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module; DTC U0129: Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module; DTC U0142: Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B"; DTC U0155: Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module (Combination Meter) [08/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CAN BUS CHECK) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Can Bus Check.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. B
    4. Turn the power switch off.

    B → See step   5 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CLEAR DTCs 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
    4. Clear DTCs.
    5. Turn the power switch off.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Can Bus Check.
    4. Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "CAN Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter".

      OK

      CAN communication system is normal.

    5. Turn the power switch off.

    NG → See step   6 

    OK → See step   4 

  4. USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2014 - ] 
  5. GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2014 - ] 
  6. GO TO DTC CHART (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM). Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2014 - ]
