DTC P0504: Brake Switch "A" / "B" Correlation [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure
- CHECK STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (TERMINAL VOLTAGE)
- Disconnect the stop light switch assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage

- Disconnect the stop light switch assembly connector.
- CHECK STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (TERMINAL VOLTAGE)
- Disconnect the stop light switch assembly connector.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY)
- Remove the No. 1 integration relay from the No. 2 engine room relay block.
- Disconnect the stop light switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A5-5 (B) - 2F-6 Always Below 1 Ω A5-5 (B) or 2F-6 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
