Rear Door RH Entry Unlock Function does not Operate [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. When the master switch assembly's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.
   RESULT
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   Door locks operate normally	OK
   Door locks do not operate normally	NG

NG → See step   10 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List.
   REAR RIGHT DOOR (REAR DOOR ECU RH)
   
   

   Tester Display	Measurement Item/Display	Normal Condition	Diagnostic Note
   Lock Position SW	Rear RH side door lock position switch signal / ON or OFF	ON: Rear RH side door is unlocked OFF: Rear RH side door is locked	-

   OK

   On the screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.

NG → See step   12 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List.
   REAR RIGHT DOOR (REAR DOOR ECU RH)

   Entry Sensor	Rear RH side door touch sensor / ON or OFF	ON: Rear RH side door sensor is touched OFF: Rear RH side door sensor is not touched	-

   OK

   On the screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.

NG → See step   5 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - ] .
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK

   Operates normally

NG → See step   11 

OK → END (REAR DOOR ECU RH IS DEFECTIVE)

1. Disconnect the Of ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the O2 oscillator connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   O3-16 (SEL) - O23-4 (SEL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   O3-16 (SEL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step

1. Disconnect the O23 oscillator connector.
2. Disconnect the O24 handle connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   O23-2 (SGT6) - O24-6 (SGT5)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   O23-2 (SGT6) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - ] .
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK

   Operates normally

NG → See step   8 

OK → END (DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR IS DEFECTIVE) 

1. Replace the rear door outside handle RH with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] .
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK

   Operates normally

NG → See step   9 

OK → END (REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH IS DEFECTIVE) 

1. Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - ]
2. Check that the entry function operates normally.

   OK

   Operates normally
