Back Door Entry Lock Function does not Operate [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

1. When the door control switch on the multiplex network master switch assembly is operated, check that the doors unlock and lock according to the switch operation (Refer to OPERATION CHECK [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

   OK

   Door locks operate normally.

Result: 

NG 

Go to POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM 

(Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2015 - 08/2019] )

Result: 

OK

1. When the door control switch on the multiplex network master switch assembly on the driver side door is operated, check that the Data List using the Techstream (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

   Tr/B-Door Lock SW	Back door electrical key switch (lock switch) / ON or OFF	ON: Back door electrical key switch (lock switch) pushed OFF: Back door electrical key switch (lock switch) not pushed	Displays whether the back door electrical key switch (lock switch) is on or off. Use this Data List item to help determine if there is a switch malfunction when the back door lock function does not operate.

   The Techstream display changes correctly in response to the operation of the back door electrical key switch.

REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU

1. Disconnect the X6 back door electrical key switch connector.
2. Disconnect the G26 certification ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   X6-2 (L) - G26-23 (TSW6)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   X6-3 (B) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   X6-2 (L) or G26-23 (TSW6) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Remove the back door electrical key switch (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   2 (L) - 3 (B)	No switch pushed	10 kΩ or higher
