Freeze Frame Data [09/2015 - 08/2019]

  1. FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Whenever an automatic headlight beam level control system DTC is stored, the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores the current vehicle state as freeze frame data.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling*1 or AFS*2 / Trouble Codes.
      1. *1: for Single Beam Headlight without AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)
      2. *2: for Triple Beam Headlight, for Single Beam Headlight with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)
    5. Select a DTC to display its freeze frame data.

  3. CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    NOTE:

    Clearing the DTCs will also clear the freeze frame data.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. for Single Beam Headlight without AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System):
      1. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.

        Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2015 - 08/2019] 

        Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs 

    4. for Triple Beam Headlight, for Single Beam Headlight with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System):
      1. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.

        Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2015 - 08/2019] 

        Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs
