Parking Light/Daytime Running Light Circuit [09/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. for Single Beam Headlight without AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System):
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL Auto Leveling / Active Test.
      5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

        Body Electrical > HL Auto Leveling > Active Test

        Clearance Light Parking lights ON or OFF -
        Daytime Running Light Daytime running lights ON or OFF -

        Body Electrical > HL Auto Leveling > Active Test

        Parking lights and daytime running lights illuminate.

    2. for Triple Beam Headlight, for Single Beam Headlight with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System):
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Active Test.
      5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

        Body Electrical > AFS > Active Test

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2015 - 12/2017]  , or refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  2. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT LH 
    1. Interchange the headlight unit LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.

      for Single Beam Headlight: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2015 - 08/2019]

      for Triple Beam Headlight: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2015 - 08/2019]

    2. Check that the parking light LH and daytime running light LH operate normally.

      OK

      Parking light LH and daytime running light LH operate normally.

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT UNIT LH 

    for Single Beam Headlight: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2015 - 08/2019]

    for Triple Beam Headlight: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2015 - 08/2019]

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    for Single Beam Headlight: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - 08/2019]

    for Triple Beam Headlight: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - 08/2019]

    Result: 

    C 

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2015 - 08/2016]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2016 - 08/2019] 

  3. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT RH 
    1. Interchange the headlight unit RH with LH and connect the connectors to them.

      for Single Beam Headlight: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2015 - 08/2019]

      for Triple Beam Headlight: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2015 - 08/2019]

    2. Check that the parking light RH and daytime running light RH operate normally.

      OK

      Parking light RH and daytime running light RH operate normally.

    for Triple Beam Headlight: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - 08/2019]

    Result:
