Pre-collision System Cancel Switch Circuit [04/2013 - 10/2016]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Pre-Collision 2 > Data List

   When the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly is operated, the display changes as shown above.

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [04/2013 - 10/2016]

1. Remove the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 10/2016]

2. Inspect the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [04/2013 - 10/2016]

   Result

REPLACE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2013 - 10/2016]

1. Disconnect the M1 driving support ECU assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the K97 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M1-5 (PBSW) - K97-2	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M1-5 (PBSW) or K97-2 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the K97 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   K97-1 - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   NG

REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2013 - 09/2020]
