Pre-collision System Cancel Switch Circuit [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Remove the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] .
2. Inspect the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2015 - ] .

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the E155 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the E138 driving support ECU assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E155-8 (ECU) - E138-5 (PBSW)	Pre-collision system cancel switch assembly off	10k Ω or higher
   	Pre-collision system cancel switch assembly on	Below 1 Ω

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK 

See step  3

1. Replace the seat heater control sub-assembly LH with a new or known good one. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] .
2. The pre-collision system cancel switch is turned off.
3. Check the PCS indicator light in the combination meter assembly.

   OK

   The PCS indicator light will illuminate.

Result: 

OK 

END (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY WAS DEFECTIVE) 

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
