CHECK FOR DTCs (POWER STEERING SYSTEM)

Check for DTCs.

For Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column:

For Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column:
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 05/2019]

Chassis > EMPS > Trouble Codes

HINT:

When the lane departure alert system (w/ steering control) outputs DTC U023A, the power steering system may also output DTC U023A. If DTC U023A is output, perform diagnosis for the power steering system first.

Chassis > LKA/LDA > Clear DTCs
Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

If the conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
