DTC U0122: Lost Communication With Vehicle Dynamics Control Module; DTC U0123: Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module; DTC U0126: Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module; DTC U0293: Lost Communication with Hybrid Vehicle Control System [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Description

The driving support ECU assembly uses the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle. Based on this information, the driving support ECU assembly sends pre-collision safety control operation signals. These DTCs are stored when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs that detect crashes, or between ECUs that perform the pre-collision safety control.

U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module Either condition is met:
  • The brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) does not receive data from the airbag ECU assembly for 1 second or more.
  • The following condition occurs 10 times consecutively within 60 seconds: The response sent to the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) from the airbag ECU assembly is invalid at least once within 5 seconds.
  • CAN communication system
  • Airbag ECU assembly
  • Driving support ECU assembly
U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module Either condition is met:
  • The brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) does not receive data from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly (steering angle sensor) for 1 second or more.
  • The following condition occurs 10 times consecutively within 60 seconds: The response sent to the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) from the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly (steering angle sensor) is invalid at least once within 5 seconds.
  • CAN communication system
  • Spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly
  • Driving support ECU assembly
U0293 Lost Communication with Hybrid Vehicle Control System Either condition is met:
  • The brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) does not receive data from the hybrid vehicle control ECU for 2 seconds or more.
  • The following condition occurs 10 times consecutively within 60 seconds: The response sent to the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) from the hybrid vehicle control ECU is invalid at least once within 5 seconds.
