The hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly and driving support ECU assembly communicate signals with each sensor and ECU via CAN communication.

If there are any malfunctions in the communication circuit, one or more CAN communication system DTCs are output.

U0122*1 When the power switch is on (IG) and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) and the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is detected for approximately 2.6 seconds or more.

U0125*2 While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (or 22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), a communication error between the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 0.8 seconds or more.

U0126*2 While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (or 22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), a communication error between the steering sensor and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 0.8 seconds or more.

U0129*2 While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (or 22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 2.3 seconds or more.

U0293*1 While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (or 22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly continuously receives a communication cut-off signal from the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) for approximately 1 second or more.

U0293*2 While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (or 22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), a communication error between the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 0.8 seconds or more.

U1104*1 While the vehicle speed is 40 km/h (or 25 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), communication between driving support ECU assembly and hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly stops for 1 second or more.
