  • Diagnosis condition: Ambient temperature is 30°C (86 °F) or more
  • Malfunction status: Open or short in room temperature sensor circuit
  • Detection time: None (Present malfunction), continuously for 4 seconds or more (Past malfunction)

B1412 Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: None
  • Malfunction status: Open or short in ambient temperature sensor circuit
  • Detection time: None (Present malfunction), continuously for 4 seconds or more (Past malfunction)

B1413 Evaporator Temperature Sensor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: None
  • Malfunction status: Open or short in evaporator temperature sensor circuit
  • Detection time: None (Present malfunction), continuously for 4 seconds or more (Past malfunction)

B1418 Emission Gas Sensor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: None
  • Malfunction status: Short in smog ventilation sensor circuit (HC, CO)
  • Detection time: Continuously for 4 seconds or more (Present malfunction), although only when the power switch off → on (IG) continuously 28 seconds or more

B1423 Pressure Sensor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (IG)
  • Malfunction Status: Refrigerant pressure signal malfunction
  • Detection time: Continuously for 4 seconds or more (Present malfunction)

B1441 Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit (Passenger Side)
  • Diagnosis condition: During No. 4 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly (front passenger side lower air mix) operation
  • Malfunction status: The damper servo operation request signal is output but the position information of the servo does not change or servo is malfunctioning
  • Detection time: Continuously for 30 seconds or more

B1442 Air Inlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: During No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly operation
  • Malfunction status: The damper servo operation request signal is output but the position information of the servo does not change or servo is malfunctioning
  • Detection time: Continuously for 30 seconds or more

B1443 Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: During No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly (MODE FACE) operation
  • Malfunction status: The damper servo operation request signal is output but the position information of the servo does not change or servo is malfunctioning
  • Detection time: Continuously for 30 seconds or more

B1446 Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit (Driver Side)

  • Detection time: Continuously for 30 seconds or more

  • Diagnosis condition: No. 3 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly (MODE DEF) operation
  • Malfunction status: The damper servo operation request signal is output but the position information of the servo does not change or servo is malfunctioning
  • Detection time: Continuously for 30 seconds or more

B1473 A/C Inverter Start-up Signal System Malfunction
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (READY)
  • Malfunction status: Any of the following conditions are met;
    • High voltage from hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is unavailable
    • Air conditioning refrigerant pressure malfunction
    • Compressor with motor assembly malfunction
  • Detection time: Present malfunction

B1474 A/C Inverter Malfunction
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (READY)
  • Malfunction status: The inverter internal temperature is outside the specified range (exceeds the maximum)

B1475 A/C Inverter Cooling / Heating System Malfunction
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (READY)
  • Malfunction status: Outside base temperature in the Inverter (unreasonable temperature)

B1476 A/C Inverter Load System Malfunction
  • Diagnosis condition: Compressor operation request
  • Malfunction status: Motor rotation load while the compressor is operating is too large or too small
  • Detection time: None

B1477 A/C Inverter Low Voltage Power Resource System Malfunction
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (READY)
  • Malfunction status: An open or short to ground in the inverter control power voltage circuit

B1497 Communication Malfunction (Bus Ic)
  • Diagnosis condition: None
  • Malfunction status: Error or open in communication line between air conditioning amplifier assembly and servo motor

B1498 Communication Malfunction (A/C Inverter Local)
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (READY)
  • Malfunction status: Error or open in communication line between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and compressor with motor assembly or high-voltage power source shut off

B14A8 Glass Temperature Sensor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (IG)
  • Malfunction status: Communication between rain sensor (glass humidity sensor) and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is abnormal or stops
  • Detection time: Continuously for 5 seconds or more after turning power switch on (IG) after progress 10 seconds.

B14A9 Glass Surroundings Temperature Sensor Circuit
  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (IG)

  • Diagnosis condition: Power switch on (IG)
  • Malfunction status: Lost communication with integration control and panel assembly

B14B8 Refrigerant Shortage
  • Diagnosis condition: At the time of quantity of refrigerant opinion on infringement condition establishment by the ordinary control
  • Malfunction status: When following condition is detected in refrigerant shortage check in normal operation; Amount of refrigerant is insufficient
  • Detection time: During air conditioning system operation for 10 minutes or more
