NOTE:

After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

HINT:

To perform the simulation method, enter check mode (signal check) with the Techstream (Refer to CHECK MODE PROCEDURE [10/2017 - 10/2020] ), and then wiggle each connector of the airbag system or drive the vehicle on various types of road (Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2019 - 10/2020] ).
