DTC U0100/41: Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A"; DTC U0129/41: Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module; DTC U0130/41: Lost Communication with Steering Effort Control Module [09/2014 - ]: Description

The DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) sends and receives data to and from the ECM, skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) and VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) via CAN communication.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
U0100/41 All conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  • 1 second or more elapses after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • The vehicle is being driven at a speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) or more.
  • The signal from the ECM is lost.
  • ECM
  • CAN communication system
U0129/41 All conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  • 2 seconds or more elapse after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • The signal from the skid control ECU is lost.
  • Skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly)
  • CAN communication system
U0130/41 All conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  • 1 second or more elapses after turning the engine switch on (IG).
  • The power source voltage is 10 to 16 V.
  • The signal from the VGRS ECU is lost.
  • VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU)
  • CAN communication system
