DTC B1543: Extension Module Disconnected 2 [09/2017 - ]: Procedure

CHECK MAP SCREEN

Turn the engine switch on (ACC) and wait for 90 seconds.

Press the "MAP" switch and check that the map screen is displayed normally.

HINT:

This DTC may be stored due to environmental reasons such as electrical noise or interference.
Clear past DTCs when the map screen is displayed normally. (Codes stored due to past environmental factors)

CHECK DTC

Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2017 - 05/2018] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [05/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2019 - ]

Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs
Turn the engine switch off.
Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 90 seconds.

Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2017 - 05/2018] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [05/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2019 - ]

Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

No DTCs are output.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the navigation ECU connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Disconnect the z17 navigation ECU connector.

Disconnect the z16 radio receiver assembly connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
