Customize Parameters [12/2017 - 10/2020]
- CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (EXT) NOTE:
- When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
- Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
- When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
HINT:
The following items can be customized.
- Customizing with the Techstream
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Light Control, Illuminated Entry or Warning.
- Select the setting by referring to the table below.
Light Control

Illuminated Entry
Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU Mirr-Foot-Lgt Approached/Exterior Light Approached Illuminates the outside handle lights when a key enters any actuation area around the doors. ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) Mirr-Foot-Lgt Unlocked/Exterior Light Unlocked Lights up outside handle lights when doors are unlocked using a mechanical key or door control transmitter. - Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings.
