1. Check the DTCs.

   Chassis > VGRS > Trouble Codes 

   HINT: 

   If the pre-collision system outputs U0319-51 or U0319-57, variable gear ratio steering system DTCs may also have been output. Check the variable gear ratio steering system first.

   OK

   Variable gear ratio steering system DTCs are not output.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPLACE VGRS ECU (FRONT STEERING CONTROL ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]
