DTC P058A-01: Auxiliary Battery Monitor Module Range/Performance [10/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Check installation condition of the battery state sensor assembly.

   Result

   NG

Result: 

NG 

INSTALL THE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY CORRECTLY. Refer to  INSTALLATION [10/2017 - 10/2020] 

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Check that the battery state sensor assembly connector is securely connected.

   OK

   The connector is securely connected.

2. Disconnect the P5 battery state sensor assembly connector.
3. Check the connector case and terminals for deformation or corrosion.

   OK

   No deformation or corrosion.

4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P5-1 (+B) - Body ground	Power switch off	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]
