Installation [10/2014 - 05/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the claw to install the windshield wiper switch assembly.
    2. Connect each connector.
  2. INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER 
    1. Attach the claw and install the upper steering column cover.
    2. Attach the 4 clips and 2 guides to connect the instrument cluster finish panel cover to the upper steering column cover.
  3. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column) 
    NOTE:

    If the lower steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, the parts may break.

    1. Attach the 3 claws and 4 guides to install the lower steering column cover.
    2. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and install the screw.
    3. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and install the lower steering column cover with the screw.
  4. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) 
    NOTE:

    If the lower steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, the parts may break.

    1. Attach the 2 claws and 4 guides to install the lower steering column cover.
    2. Install the screw.
    3. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and install the screw.
    4. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and install the lower steering column cover with the screw.
  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) 
    NOTE:
  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column) 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
