Installation [10/2014 - 05/2019]: Procedure
- INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Attach the claw to install the windshield wiper switch assembly.
- Connect each connector.
- INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER
- Attach the claw and install the upper steering column cover.
- Attach the 4 clips and 2 guides to connect the instrument cluster finish panel cover to the upper steering column cover.
- INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column) NOTE:
If the lower steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, the parts may break.
- Attach the 3 claws and 4 guides to install the lower steering column cover.
- Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and install the screw.
- Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and install the lower steering column cover with the screw.
- INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) NOTE:
If the lower steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, the parts may break.
- Attach the 2 claws and 4 guides to install the lower steering column cover.
- Install the screw.
- Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and install the screw.
- Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and install the lower steering column cover with the screw.
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) NOTE:
- Reset the auto away/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter

- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - 09/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2017 - 05/2019]
- Reset the auto away/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column) NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
