Fail-Safe Chart [09/2014 - 11/2017]

  1. CONDITIONS FOR MOMENTARY SUSPENSION 
    1. When system operation is suspended momentarily, "LDA not available" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly, the lane departure alert indicator turns off and a "pong" sound is heard. This occurs under the following condition:

      • A high lane departure warning camera temperature is detected.

      HINT: 

      When the system recovers and the condition to suspended lane departure alert system operation is not met, the lane departure alert system operates again.

  2. STOP DUE TO SYSTEM MALFUNCTION 
    1. When a system malfunction is detected, the lane departure alert indicator turns off, "Check LDA System" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and a "pong" sound is heard.

      HINT: 

      After the engine switch is turned off then back on (IG), the lane departure alert system operates again if the system is confirmed to be normal when the lane departure alert main switch is turned on.
