DTC B2416: Height Control Sensor; DTC B241A: Rear Height Control Sensor [08/2019 - ]: Description

The No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH determines the vehicle height and performs automatic headlight beam level control based on signals from the rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH via direct line.

FOR MULTIPLE BEAM HEADLIGHT

B2416 Height Control Sensor Detection condition: 
  1. The engine switch is on (IG).

Malfunction status: 
  1. Abnormal power source voltage continuously detected

Malfunction duration: 
  1. 5 seconds or more
  • Rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH
  • Harness or connector
  • No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH

B241A Rear Height Control Sensor Detection condition: 
  1. The engine switch is on (IG).

Malfunction status: 
  1. Abnormal vehicle height continuously detected

Malfunction duration: 
  1. 5 seconds or more
  • Rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH
  • Harness or connector
  • No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH
