The combination meter assembly communicates with the ECM, brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU), power steering ECU assembly, main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), airbag sensor assembly, radio receiver assembly, headlight ECU sub-assembly LH* and forward recognition camera via CAN communication.

U0100 Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A" Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with ECM

Malfunction Time:
  1. 2 seconds or more
  • ECM
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly
 DTC stored -
U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU)

Malfunction Time:
  1. 3 seconds or more
  • Brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU)
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly
 DTC stored -
U0131 Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with power steering ECU with motor assembly

Malfunction Time:
  1. 3 seconds or more
  • Power steering ECU assembly
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly

U0140 Lost Communication with Body Control Module Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

Malfunction Time:
  1. 3 seconds or more
  • Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly
 DTC stored -
U0151 Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with airbag sensor assembly

Malfunction Time:
  1. 10 seconds or more
  • Airbag sensor assembly
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly
 DTC stored -
U0163 Lost Communication with Navigation Control Module Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with radio receiver assembly

Malfunction Time:
  1. 3 seconds or more
  • Radio receiver assembly
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly

U0182 Lost Communication with Lighting Control Module Front Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH

Malfunction Time:
  1. 10 seconds or more
  • Headlight ECU sub-assembly LH
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly
 DTC stored w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System
U023A Lost Communication with Front Camera Module Diagnosis Condition:
  • The engine switch is on (IG)
  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with forward recognition camera

Malfunction Time:
  1. 10 seconds or more
  • Forward recognition camera
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly
