DTC U0300-51: Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility Not Programmed; DTC U0300-57: Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility Invalid/Incompatible Software Component [08/2021 - ]: Description

For HV Model:

The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the hybrid vehicle control ECU via the CAN communication line. When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information from the vehicle information sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU, the forward recognition camera outputs U0300-51.
The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the hybrid vehicle control ECU via the CAN communication line. When the vehicle information sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U0300-57.

For Gasoline Model:

The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the ECM via the CAN communication line. When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information from the vehicle information sent from the ECM, the forward recognition camera outputs U0300-51.
The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the ECM via the CAN communication line. When the vehicle information sent from the ECM does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U0300-57.
