Confirmation Driving Pattern

HINT: 

• After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the All Readiness check procedure.

  Refer to UTILITY [11/2021 - ]

• When clearing the permanent DTCs, refer to the Clear Permanent DTC procedure.

  Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2023 - ]

1. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
2. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.
3. Start the engine. [*1]
4. With the brake pedal depressed, change the shift state from R to D. [*2]
5. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for 10 seconds or more. [*3]
6. Stop the vehicle, and with the brake pedal depressed, change the shift state from M to N. [*4]
7. Press the P position switch to change the shift state to P. [*5]

   HINT: 

   [*1] to [*5]: Normal judgment procedure.

   The normal judgment procedure is used to complete DTC judgment and also used when clearing permanent DTCs.

8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Utility / All Readiness.
9. Check the DTC judgment result.

   HINT: 

   • If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
   • If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
   • If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform the normal judgment procedure again.
