Security Indicator Light Does not Blink [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Smart Access > Trouble Codes 

   Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTCs are not output.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2021 - ]

OK

1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

   Body Electrical > Smart Access > Active Test

   OK

   The security indicator light (theft warning indicator light assembly) operates normally.

REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

NG

1. Disconnect the I39 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the K6 security indicator light (theft warning indicator light assembly) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I39-25 (IND) - K6-1 (LP2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K6-2 (E02) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I39-25 (IND) or K6-1 (LP2) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
