DTC P007A-15: Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor Bank 1 Circuit Short to Battery or Open [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Disconnect the No. 3 turbo pressure sensor connector.

   *1	No. 3 Turbo Pressure Sensor
   *2	ECM
   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 3 Turbo Pressure Sensor)

2. Connect terminals 4 (THIM) and 2 (E2) of the No. 3 turbo pressure sensor connector on the wire harness side.

   Procedure1

3. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

   Powertrain > Engine > Data List 

   Tester Display
   Intake Air Temperature B1S1 (Turbo)

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   The value of Intake Air Temperature B1S1 (Turbo) is 140°C	A
   None of the above conditions are met	B

   HINT: 

   140°C (284°F)

   Post-procedure1

4. None

Result: 

A 

REPLACE NO. 3 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

2. Disconnect the ECM connector.

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C40-4 (THIM) - C38-37 (THIM)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   C40-2 (E2) - C38-39 (EPIM)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   C40-4 (THIM) or C38-37 (THIM) - Other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher
