How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

    Standard voltage

    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

  4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [12/2021 - ]

      HINT: 

      The ECU of this system is connected to the CAN communication system.

      Therefore, before starting troubleshooting, make sure to check that there is no trouble in the CAN communication system.

  5. CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Powertrain > Four Wheel Drive > Trouble Codes 

    2. Check for freeze frame data.

      HINT: 

      Record or print DTCs and freeze frame data if necessary.

    3. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.

      Body Electrical > Central Gateway > Clear DTCs 

    4. Recheck for DTCs.

      Powertrain > Four Wheel Drive > Trouble Codes 

      1. Simulate the malfunction condition and check if the DTCs are output again.
